I always say to myself this is the last time
I have had enough, there won't be another.
To find myself once again being lured back in
by your lies even further.
I know in my heart you haven't changed
your still the same, you will manipulate
me again this time.
But you can be so sweet with your deceiving ways
it plays tricks with my mind.
You will use up all your charm someday
and I will finally be gone.
Maybe you will feel the pain that I did
when you find yourself alone.

Why
Why do you waste your time
with your lies, your promises, your tears?
To just mess with my head, my heart,
and to cause fear!
Why do you keep me hanging on
with hope, wishes, and dreams?
To just crush me again with your
infidelity, lying and schemes!
Why do you think money, your toys
and status are more important than me?
Because love, intimacy, and companionship
is how it really should be!
Why do you think I cry
for you, for me, for us?
It's because I know we will never be together
because of no respect, honesty or trust!

New Beginning
Sometimes you meet someone and you think they are the best thing that ever happened to you to just find out that they weren't who you thought they were. Here is a poem I wrote about a man that I met. Not too long after I wrote this he decided to leave my life. I believe this was the best thing that could of ever happened to me.

to make me see you gave me that look,
your the one for me, I can't believe I fell this deep,
so quick and so fast is how it came on,

Positive Effect
The world is full of good
if we just look for it.
We are more affected
by the bad than the good in people.
We notice negative things
but if we tried a little bit
to see the good in everyone
we would be affected
in a more positive way.
If you show people
the positive side of you,
you will notice your attitude
may rub off on them.
And suddenly their outlook
on life is happy and new
and it will be their turn
to positively affect someone. -plm
